We brewed this beer to raise funds for Pelotonia, a nonprofit with an audacious goal to end cancer through innovative cancer research. Blackberry Farm - Classic Saison
Style: Saison
ABV: 6.00% IBU: 31.0

The aroma is dominated by fruity esters reminiscent of citrus fruits along with a moderate earthy and floral hop aroma from the use of Noble-type hops in the brewing process. Has a deep gold, hue that is often hazy, and a voluminous head on pouring as a result of the bottle-conditioning and high natural carbonation. The beer is medium-bodied and has a very refreshing effervescence.

A Marzen-style festbier brewed with Munich, rye, and Riverbend Heritage malts smoked by our good friends and neighbors at Benton’s Country Ham. Their handiwork is evident but subtle on the nose, with toasty, bready malt and spicy layers underneath. The flavor is full of rich, toasty malt, giving way to a spicy rye middle and soft, balanced, slightly spicy finish.

A special strong saison brewed with warm thoughts of friends, family and all of you, for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Our classic floor-malted grains, with the addition of maize and sugar for a big beer that is still light and “digestible” as the Belgians like to say. Aromas of gingersnap, allspice and citrus with flavors white grape, orange marmalade and spice cake. Dry hopped with Motueka and Hallertau Blanc.

	Blackberry Farm - Draft Lab No. 4: Schwarzbier Style: Schwarzbier ABV: 4.60% Black as night, but deceptively drinkable, this traditional German Black Lager has toasty, bready malt aroma, mild roast and coffee notes, with just a hint of hops. The flavor is surprisingly mild and smooth, with a medium body and clean dry finish.

This traditional pale spring Bockbier, also known as Hellerbock, was quietly lagered throughout the winter months. Deep rich golden in color with aromas of honey, toffee and straw which carry through to the flavor. Malty smooth for its deceptive strength, with a pleasant floral noble hop and drying, firm bitterness to balance.

A seasonal yet classic Old World-style beer, this Fall Saison is effervescent and bready—like Autumn in a glass. A blend of floor-malted barley and two types of rye malt gives it a copper color and a silky sweet body with a hint of rye spiciness. Additional conditioning on oak lends pleasing accents of light toffee and vanilla. Warm and delicious, it pairs perfectly with rich, earthy flavors like pumpkin, apple and butternut squash.

Leather Britches is an old southern method for preserving late-summer green beans. The beans are harvested, left in their pod and hung up to dry. Dehydrating on the string, they start to look like leather pant legs. Brewed in collaboration with Heidi Geist of the 48 Beer Project, we’re paying homage to a farm tradition with this dark, rich porter featuring a malty finish and hints of dark fruit and chocolate.

In keeping with the spirit of traditional Old-World Farmhouse Ales, Blackberry Farm Brewery has crafted a golden, dry-hopped Saison featuring German Select, Tettnanger, East Kent Golding hops. This beer’s floor-malted pilsner grain bill and classic Belgian Saison yeast create a pleasantly light and balanced beer, accentuated by subtle earth and spice notes from the Noble dry hop addition.

Bold and dark as a moonless Appalachian winter night, Oxheart Imperial Stout features Maris Otter 2 Row Barley, as well as generous portions of roasted and caramelized malts. This robust grain bill imparts deeply rich aromas and flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, caramel and roasted coffee. Hearty additions of European and American hops bring a moderate bitterness to balance the mountainous malt character. The result is a bold, complex stout you can enjoy fresh or age for many moons.

Blackberry Farm - Stonefly Double IPA V.13 (Columbus, Talus, Chinook)
Style: Double IPA
ABV: 8.30%

This was an opportunity for us to try new hop products and what they can do in a double IPA. Dry hopped with Columbus hop hash, Talus cryo hops, and Chinook hops, the aroma is a bomb of pine resin and citrus rind. Flavors of pine, orange, grapefruit and mandarin are present but are softened by wheat and a strong malt backbone, as well as debittered hop salvo. This is a big modern IPA that drinks below its weight class.

Blackberry Farm - Stonefly IPA V.11 (Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe)
Style: American IPA
ABV: 6.80%

India Pale Ale featuring Galaxy, Mosaic, and Simcoe dry hop additions. Aromas of passion fruit, berry, a complex stone fruit medley, earthy and herbal, with a hint of grassiness from a simplified malt bill of only 2-row Pale and our custom malted TN-grown 2-row, which leaves a clean palate on which to showcase this dry hop blend of Simcoe, Mosaic and Galaxy. A light berry sweetness up front with grapefruit and lime fading into a dry finish with a clean and firm bitterness.

Style: Double IPA
ABV: 8.50%

Featuring talus cryo, columbus hop hash, and traditional chinook, centennial, and cascade T90 hops, as well as Centennial debittered hop extract in the whirlpool. A copious double dry-hopping of the aforementioned hops and generous additions of blood orange, tangerine, and grapefruit purees make this Imperial IPA a refreshing reminder of brighter days to come.

Inspired by crisp December nights on our estate in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, this Saison is reminiscent of the natural nuances of winter. Light and dark wheat add palate fullness to this saison’s floor malted barley backbone. Abbey-style character malts and our flavorful yeast strain develop complex dark fruit notes, while Styrian Golding hops bring a subtle counterbalance of bitterness.

We combined our two favorite beverages, coffee and beer, for a dark brew that is perfect for winter. Our brewery team tasted a dozen different coffees to find the perfect blend for this roasty seasonal stout. We chose a variety that enhances the beer with pleasantly nutty and light chocolate flavor, finished with a citrus note for brightness and soft fruit undertones to round out the palate.
