Cathedral Square Brewery - Belgian-Style White Ale
Style: Witbier
ABV: 4.80%

Big, rocky head;; completely cloudy, pale amber color. Hints of musk, chalk east, ripe plum, subtle spicing and fresh-cut grass in the nose. Happy to run into a Witbier that doesn’t smell like the soap aisle at a health-food store. Smoothness runs deep within the medium body. Lightly toasted maltiness flexes its strength a bit, and the yeastiness is prevalent but not overwhelming. Fruity with a mild spicy backing. Ghostlike phenol drops some medicinal herbal flavor in the middle. Semidry malty finish with some lingering spice. Reminds us of the rural Witbiers in Belgium that are only served in the town they are brewed in. Stellar.
