Light straw. Very tropical; pineapples, coconut. Granny smith apple and lime. Minimal tannins, medium-high acidity and very dry. The pineapple really jumps out at me. Apple, lime rinds, lime juice and a hint of that coconut from the nose. Wet stone minerality.

Sight: Dark purple, opaque. Clear with slight rim. Aroma: Anise, black currants, tobacco and black cherries. Structure: Medium tannin, low-medium acidity. Very dry. Flavors: Black cherry, cassis, blackberries. A hint of vanilla. A little spice on the finish.

Dark purple in color, this wine offers aromas of anise, black currant, tobacco and black cherry. On the palate, it is dry with medium tannin and low-medium acidity, showing notes of black cherry, cassis, blackberry and a hint of vanilla. A little spice on the finish.

Dried cherries, blackberries. Very smooth mouthfeel. The fruit is a little more subdued, making this feel more like an Old World wine. The tannins are a bit drying, but the juicy mouthfeel (from the cool weather climate acidity) balances both perfectly.

Very clear and light straw in color. Very pale, almost colorless. Citrus fruits aromas—lemon, lime and grapefruit. Hints of lemongrass and freshly mown lawn. A bright, refreshing acidity in the mid-palette. Fruit flavors throughout the finish—and the citrus is dominating once again. This time grapefruit leads the way pairing nicely with lime and lime rind.
