To celebrate our 500th batch, we're treating ourselves to something special. Something crazy. Something downright irresponsible. An IPA jam-packed with ludicrous amounts of Nelson Sauvin - a hop famous for its distinctive aromas and lamentable scarcity. And because our accountant was on vacation, we decided not to stop there... layer in some Citra, garnish with your favorite Chinook, and you've got a recipe for a serious talking-to when the boss comes home. Why? Because why not!? It's a celebration!! Cheers to you, our loyal fans, for all of your love and support! Here's to the next 500!

Common Space Brewery - All Bark, No Bite
Style: Dunkel
ABV: 5.70% IBU: 15.0

This Dunkel style dark lager was brewed with Barke (pronounced “bark” - “E”) barley. Barke is a heritage barley varietal grown in germany. I lends a fuller “maltiness” to the Pilsner, Vienna and Munich malts in this beer. The beer drinks very smooth and clean, with a complex toast, and bakers cocoa flavor. The flavors are rich in maillard browning, but the beer lacks the burnt and smoky flavors of a stout.

SMOOTH - ALMOND - COOKIES This beer was brewed with large quantities of almond flour in the mash, and fermented with a blend of Ale and Lager yeast, before being cold conditioned. A small amount of Almond extract was added to the finished beer for aroma. Fruity, bright, lightly sweet, and pleasantly acidic – Maneki Neko has many similarities in flavor with Sake, with the body of a lager.

Milo is a silky nitro stout with complex flavors of baker’s chocolate and hints of toast. The sweetness is subdued, and the roast level is low, providing a stout with a beautifully smooth mouthfeel, and a very clean finish. Milo is meant to be enjoyed like an adult version of chocolate milk – rich enough to enjoy as a treat on its own, yet dry enough to pair with a soft baked cookie or coffee cake.

This Pale Ale was brewed using the Pink Boots blend of hops, produced by PBS with Yakima Chief. A portion of proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated to PBS and will directly support the LA chapter.

With the addition of some really special Nugget and Nugget CGX, this beer is overflowing with citrus and stone fruit aromas, supported by a sweeter tropical underbelly..
