The Biere de Garde style originated as a farmhouse "beer to keep" in Northern France. Ours has been aged for nine months in bourbon barrels. It delivers notes of caramel, Rainier cherries, Marcona almonds, and a hint of peppery spice. Soft oak tannins give way to a crisp, dry finish.
