Apis, the genus of the honeybee, is in homage to the hardworking honeybees of Colorado that provided the caramelized honey we use in making this fantastic beer. Elevation Beer Co. - Arete
Style: Barleywine
ABV: 12.00% IBU: 67.0

Arête is a blended barleywine, constructed over two separate batches (one of which was particular dry and high in ABV) that was then dry-hopped, the result being a significantly detailed American-style version with a tremendous amount of depth. This is 100% Centennial hops throughout, but it feels way more expansive than a single-hop beer should.

Elevation Beer Co. - Bacchan Ale
Style: Blonde
ABV: 4.70% IBU: 11.0

This beer is a “collaboration” with Vino Salida. We fermented late harvest Riesling must (unfermented grape juice with stems, seeds, skins and all that) with what was basically blonde ale wort, along with our London Ale yeast. Hopped it with some Northern Brewer and Saaz Hops. The result is a vinous yet grainy light ale with pretty high carbonation and a subtle white grape juice finish.

We created this Double IPA to showcase the diverse range of flavors and aromas different hop varieties can impart. Five different hops in seven additions during the brew give this beer all the characteristics a hop head seeks. Citrus and tropical fruit notes, pepper and spice, all the way to pungent resinous pine, Elevation Double IPA pays homage to this ingredient and the culture it created.

Elevation Pilsner pours light gold,with aromas of honeysuckle and German noble hops. Moderately dry and slightly bitter, this beer has all of the traits you have come to expect from a celebratory lager. It is fermented cold, in America, near mountains, using difficult procedures, and you know it is ready to drink when it is in your hand.

Aromas of dark fruits, vanilla, and Bourbon seep off of False Summit from a milk chocolate head. The palate hits with notes of plums, dark cherries, bourbon, oak, and vanilla with a medium body to heavy body. As the beer warms notes of caramel, oak, and dark candi sugar become more prevalent. False Summit is a beer to drink while mapping out your next adventure and should help motivate you to always keep moving to the top.

Much like the "sweet light crude oil" from the eastern plains of Colorado this beer pours a deep black with a tantalizing off-white head. Aromatics of sweet malt and bourbon envelope the nose like the sunset of the eastern plains. The malt profile continues through the palate from beginning to end with subtle hints of chocolate, coffee, and of course bourbon. This is a true beer for the malt and bourbon lovers alike.
