A blending of two batches; the first was kettle soured then laid to rest in fresh cabernet oak barrels for 6 months while the second batch was brewed with a unique yeast strain known for producing a grape-wine character with a second, smoothing fermentation lager yeast then aged in fresh cabernet oak barrels for 5 months.

For part 2 of our 4 Hazy IPA offerings, we bring the juicy mouthfeel that makes the style so drinkable. With your nose as your guide, you will find pleasing aromas of fresh cut grapefruit, papaya, mango and citrus and a sip will yield a juicy, barely-bitter tropical taste to match. Spring Haze also marks our first use of Cryo hops to yield maximum flavor and aroma and minimize bitterness. We didn’t skimp on the hops!

Capturing the fresh flavors of Thailand, Empyrean’s unique Thai IPA pours hazy in the glass. A bright, tangy bite with lingering crispness fuses with mellow sweetness and mild spice that amplify as it warms. Brewers created this complex layering of flavors and aromas by infusing fresh Kaffir lime, red Thai chili pepper, cardamom spice, black peppercorn, sweet basil and toasted coconut.
