"Hey, whats your lightest beer?". The answer comes in the form of a very light, easy-drinking lager brewed with pure mountian water, pilsner malt and German hops. You won't find anyrhing complex or pretentious about this brew. There's nothing to "get" here. In fact, the next person who uses the word "quaff" has to buy a round for the bar.

A few days after attending a show at the Orange Peel to see Toad the Wet Sprocket, the owner of Green Man Brewing had the idea of create a beer to celebrate the bands’ 25th Anniversary. After a few conversations with head brewer John Stuart, Toad the Wet Hopped Ale was born. The beer, obviously inspired by the band’s name, is wet hopped. Head Brewer John Stuart and and Assistant Brewer Kyle McKenzie brewed this luscious ale with wet Simcoe, Centennial, Mosaic and Citra hops. The hops were specifically chosen for their characteristics, giving the final result a decidedly Earthy, piney, flavor with subtle a hints of Stone fruit, giving it a bright freshness of hop flavor unique to harvest ales
