	High Hops Brewery - Black Coconut Style: India Pale Ale ABV: 8.20% IBU: 120.0 (Made with Marris Otter, as well as Midnight Wheat, which was cold steeped to insure no harsh bitterness. It was then hopped with Citra to pair nicely with the 60lbs of coconut that was added into secondary. This heavily-hopped ale is incredibly balanced out by the dark malts and coconut.

Who is Dr. Pat? A dentist, third-generation farmer, and co-founder of High Hops Brewery. Dr. Pat cultivated our on-site hop farm in 2007 which led to the opening of High Hops Brewery in 2012. It’s his recipe that creates this well-balanced, malty, and heavily-hopped beer. We brew it with continuous hop additions using citrus-forward hops grown in that same field over 10 years later.
