Proud to be a micro-beer brewed the “easy way”, with no adjuncts, no beechwood, and no tortuous filtration. If you dissect this beer you won’t find any green apple aromas, what you will find is a clean malt and hop character that easily surpasses your everyday light lager. This crisp, refreshing, sessionable beer is brewed to battle the scorching Mojave Desert heat. At Joseph James the only thing we are looking to “acquire” are loyal drinkers!

	Joseph James Brewing - Basin and Strange Style: Saison ABV: 5.00% A blend of a red wine barrel-aged 2 year old Brett beer, a tart Saison with raspberries, which was then cultured on Basin and Range (our first released sour) dregs aged in bourbon, and a little bit of our 9thAnniversary Sour Red with boysenberry that was also aged in bourbon barrels.

Joseph James Brewing - Bat Chit Hazy
Style: Hazy IPA

You asked for a turbid IPA, full of tropical fruit character and mild bitterness. We delivered just that. Buckets of Galaxy, Mosaic, and Kohatu hops combine to form an explosion of juicy flavors, while a particularly fruit-forward yeast strain adds some subtle nuances to the mix. Hoppy and drinkable, just in time for the summer heat.

Joseph James Brewing - Citra Rye Pale Ale
Style: Pale Ale

We start with 2-row, Vienna, and Rye malts to create a bready malt flavor and dry finish to accentuate the hop flavor. We then add Cascade, Centennial, and of course, a massive load of Citra hops at finishing, leaving you with enticing aromas of lychee, gooseberry, and passion fruit delivered only by the unique Citra hop. Joseph James Brewing - Desert Snow
Style: White IPA
ABV: 4.70% IBU: 65.0

The tasty counterpart to our spring seasonal Black IPA, our session White IPA starts with an ultra-light malt bill consisting of Pilsner malt, wheat, and oats. Bringing a truly American twist to this otherwise traditional Belgian ale, we add an obscene amount of Mosaic, Equinox, and El Dorado hops at finishing. Coriander and orange peel accent the fruity characteristics of the Belgian yeast.

We raided the deepest, darkest depths of our hop cooler to bring you this intensely aromatic and flavorful IPA. Built to accompany any tailgate party, this light, easy-drinking ale is packed with Ekuanot, Mosaic, and Cryo Simcoe hops for a distinct tropical character with heady resinous notes throughout. Malted wheat and a touch of caramel malt provide a light body and balanced backbone to support the hoppy trinity.

Large and in charge and dark as night, this imperial stout is overflowing with a complex blend of dark Malta and roasted barley. Big flavors of dark chocolate, espresso beans and fresh-baked brownies dominate your palate. Wonderful when fresh, but may be cellared to let the flavors develop even further. 	Joseph James Brewing - Imperial Smoked Porter with Cocoa Style: Smoked Porter ABV: 10.00% We started with a rich, dark ale brewed with Cherrywood smoked malt and aged it in Bourbon Barrels for 8 months. Then we blended it with a young dark ale, further ageing it on house smoked Cacao Nibs. The result is a luscious ale with intense flavors of dark chocolate and smoke.

Step two: crack that can open, bring it along on your shower journey, throw on your most ridiculous sing-along soundtrack, and voila! Magic.

One of our Brewmaster’s favorite styles, our Hefeweizen is unique among our offerings in that it derives its distinctive flavor primarily from the yeast strain used during fermentation. Bananas, cloves and memories of childhood bubblegum delight the palate as they ride on a smooth rounded base of malted wheat, oats and barley. Light and refreshing but infinitely interesting, this unfiltered ale is a joy to quaff.
