Frankly, that made us feel sad, so we decided to collaborate and change that. All the Peels Fruited IPA is brewed with blood orange (both peels and purée) for a fragrant hit of citrus, followed by floral, resiny notes from Cascade, Crystal, Columbus, and Chinook hops. True to its name, this beer invites you to peel back the layers and get all up in your feelings, one juicy sip at a time.

Deux Amis (French for “Two Friends”), a unique collaboration with Monkey Paw Brewing, one of Karl Strauss’ oldest friends in the industry. A beer five years in the making, this barrel-aged wild ale is the perfect marriage of two complex and wild/funky beers: a strong ale aged for three years in French Boudreaux barrels by Monkey Paw and a sour from KARL aged for two years in American oak barrels. After careful blending with both teams, KARL was able to create a complex yet delightful beer that starts off with a wonderful nose that features, oak and wine-like aromas with a complex fruitines.

When it came time to brew the second single-hop release in our Coastal Reserve series, we searched the globe in pursuit of that next dynamic, stand-alone hop. One hemisphere wasn’t enough to quench our need for exploration, so we headed south – way south. Our quest ended across the Pacific on New Zealand’s southern island, with the aptly named Pacifica hop. Bursting with favors and aromas of orange marmalade and citrus, the resulting brew is intensely hopped yet completely sessionable. NZ Pacifica Session IPA: pairs best with life’s next adventure.

When the first barrel-aged version of Wreck Alley Imperial Stout made its debut, we dropped hints about a mysterious “Batch #2.” Lucky for you, the wait is over. Like previous versions of Wreck Alley, this batch has additions of cocoa nibs and locally roasted Ethiopian coffee beans. But this time we didn’t stop there. Our brewers split whole vanilla beans from Papua New Guinea, added them to the beer, and left it to age in American oak barrels for an entire year. The result? All of the dark chocolate and espresso-like roast you expect from Wreck Alley, plus exotic vanilla undertones. This bad boy is strong, refined, and damn tasty.
