Style: Wheat

Holy Banana! This is one of the wildest beers our R&D group has ever come up with. Go Bananzas! is a Milkshake Hefeweizen. You heard us right, a Milkshake HEFEWEIZEN.. not a combo you see very often in the craft beer world. But we promise, this is a very a-peel-ing new beer style that will knock you off your feet. This brew leaves no shortage of banana aroma and flavor, from ingredients all the way to taste. Made with Bananza Yeast, this strain is from the traditional Hefeweizen but does not produce clove-like flavors, only producing the banana esters we all love from Hefeweizens. We also added some extra banana and curuba (banana passionfruit) puree, making this brew very banana-forward. It pours beautifully thick with lactose providing that milkshake-like quality, but is surprisingly light and sweet with the added vanilla and purees. Even for people on the fence about banana flavors, it is smooth, approachable, and balanced.

Brisk, tart, refreshing, and just in time for summer, Lock 27 Brewing’s take on a Berliner Weissebier is a bit exotic. We sour this ale using a single strain of lactobacillus, isolated in our own lab, to conjure the tart melon flavors. Napoleon called Berliner Weissebiers the “Champagne of the North” which may have been a bit tongue in-cheek. Napoleon was an unconventional guy and we believe this beer lives up to the legend. Authentically different and unconventionally brewed, enjoy this refreshing sip of summer today.

Lock 27 Brewing - Not Your Average Christmas Ale
Style: Blonde Ale

Pouring a vibrant light pink, NYACA is bursting with those lovely Christmas fruits & spice loved for generations. The aroma is dominated by cinnamon with nice undertones of sweet orange/clementine. The flavor has the clean attributes of a well brewed blonde ale with added cranberry, orange, and cinnamon. This fruited Blonde Ale has 45 lbs of fresh cranberries that the production team pureed by themselves, along with 2 gallons of 100% cranberry juice, 2 lbs of sweet Florida orange peel, and loads of cinnamon
