A Malt Driven Beer Reminiscent of traditional Porters, the Baltic-Style Porter has more intense flavors, but tempers them with a smooth, lager-style fermentation. Dark chocolate flavors still dominate, but treacle and dark fruit add to the complexity. Noble hops help tame the abundant sugars and bring to a finish a beer that is made for sipping. It’s heavier-bodied with medium carbonation.

A Yeast and Hop Driven Beer, Fresh Fruit is an East Coast style Hazy IPA. It is driven by profiles of Orange and Citrus. We use malted oats and wheat for the signature haze and soft mouthfeel, while the London Yeast provides the juicy aroma. Generous amounts of Exprimental 10416 (Orange), and Experimental Lotus (Orange/Vanilla) hops were used to achieve its signature flavor and aroma. It’s medium-bodied with medium carbonation.

Fundamental Haze is our Winter Seasonal Hazy Double IPA. We Kept the equation simple with this beer; GO BIG! Over a ton of malt, including malted oats and wheat for the signature haze and soft mouthfeel plus a massive 180 pounds of hops for that juicy character. Citra , Mosaic and Idaho 7 were added to the whirlpool and then double dry-hopped to bring in a strong presence of citrus and tropical resin.

A Malt Driven Beer Highland Marauder is our interpretation of a Scottish Wee Heavy (Scotch Ale). We used traditional Crystal Malts and Golden Promise to create rich caramel and toffee flavors with a toasted undercurrent, but added a hint of smoked malt for complexity. Traditional English Goldings hops (fruity/floral) balance the malt, while the high alcohol content helps cut through this high-bodied beer with medium effervescence. Flavor intensity: Moderate/High

Morgan Territory Brewing - HopTomic
Style: Double IPA
ABV: 8.80% IBU: 150.0

We use our already hoppy IPA as the starting point and add more of what people want -- more hops -- to give Hoptomic Double IPA it's punch! In addition to the five kettle additions, we dry hop it in the fermentor three separate times at three different temperatures and once more in the brite (hop) tank. After adding all those hops, it would be a shame to strain it out, so this beer is left unfiltered.

This traditional Bavarian Spring lager is marked by its malty character and balanced noble hop presence. Pilsen malt forms the base, while generous amounts of Munich and Vienna Malt round out the grain bill, creating caramel like flavors with toasty highlights. Noble Hersbrucker Hops provide a balance to the sweet maltiness while adding spice and floral notes to the flavor and aroma.

Morgan Territory Brewing - Pilsner Experience
Style: Pilsner
ABV: 5.20% IBU: 38.0

A Hop Driven Beer Pilsner Experience is a single hopped lager brewed in the classic German Pilsner style. With its clean malt bill, Pilsner is a great vehicle to explore the unique characters of individual hops. Premium Pilsner and dextrin malts were used to build a neutral flavor base with subtle bread notes. Motueka hops (Lime and Mojito) were used throughout the boil to put this hops signature on the beer. Unlike German Pilsners though, the Motueka character was further enhanced with a 1 pound per barrel dry hop in the fermentor. The results are a hoppier version of the typical Pilsner that is all Motueka. Light-bodied with elevated carbonation. Flavor intensity: Medium

Shut Up & Adore Me is essentially an Imperial Irish Stout. On top of our light base 2-Row malt, we add layers of roasted barley and dark caramel malts to impart the complex roast, coffee, and toffee flavors in the beer. Goldings hops add a light earthy/floral bitterness to complement the sweet roasted flavors. It’s medium-bodied with medium carbonation. Flavor intensity: Moderate/High

Our California Red Ale has an unapologetic approach to malts and hops, use a lot of both! Hop character dominates as it wrangles the initial malt sweetness to submission and finishes smooth. Falconer’s Flight, Amarillo, and Simcoe provide the hop character evident in the aroma and flavor. Citrus, Pine, and Resin complement the light toast, soft caramel and dark fruits of the malt, perfectly.

A Malt Driven Beer: An American original, American Lagers were first brewed following prohibition and World War 2. These lagers were popular because of the light favors achieved by supplementing traditional barley with rice and corn. The resulting beers became very popular for their crisp, refreshing qualities and lower alcohol. Our interpretation follows that intent but utilizes a modern hop, Callista, to bring a floral/citrus quality to the beer. It’s light-bodied with elevated carbonation.
