A mash of two-row, Munich, honey malt and oats gets hopped with Citra and Amarillo in the boil, with more citra in whirlpool and both again in the fermenter for awesome citrusy hop flavor and aroma. Then it’s flavored with a melange of citrus fruit: lemon peel, orange peel, grapefruit zest, lime zest and grapefruit juice, and fermented with a neutral American ale yeast so you can taste and smell that amazing citrus.

Oakshire Brewing - Drop Bear

American IPA with an Australian hop twist -- loaded with Galaxy hops! A drop bear is a fictitious Australian Marsupial. Drop Bears are commonly said to be unusually large, vicious, carnivorous marsupial related to koalas that inhabit treetops and attack their prey by dropping onto their heads from above. They are an example of local lore intended to frighten and confuse outsiders and amuse locals.

Gose to 11 is a hazy light golden colored ale with an earthy and lactic tart aroma. This light bodied and dry ale is a blend of mild fruit flavors, a savory rhubarb like flavor, and a thirst quenching salinity from the sea salt. The spicy and aromatic coriander ties it all together in a wild flavor sensation like no other beer style you’ve experienced.

Oakshire Brewing - Hopollo 7
Style: American IPA
ABV: 7.00% IBU: 77.0

Initial release 4/7/15. This well balanced, deep golden to orange colored Northwest IPA begins with a big fruity melon and citrus nose and follows with ripples of mild pine forest. The firm bitterness and fruity hop flavors carry the middle and then has a long and drawn out ending with a medium spicy finish. With 7 different hops, 7% abv and 77 ibus, this IPA is out of this world!

Line Dry Rye is a honey-orange colored pale ale. It is crafted with 10% rye malt and 10% flaked rye for a complex malt profile. American hops give Line Dry a crisp bitterness and a slight citrusy flavor. Clean and refreshing , it ends with just a small note of honey in the finish that brings all of the elements together. The name ‘Line Dry’ was chosen as the perfect fit for summer in the Willamette Valley. With only a small window of opportunity to practice this energy saving practice, we think it is time you sit back with a pint of Line Dry Rye and watch the clothes dry!
