Pariah Brewing Co. - Around the Way

On the nose we get a bright hop expression loaded with notes of white grape, lemon-lime, and subtle dank blueberry. A simple grist of primarily pale and wheat malt provides a fluffy foundation for this powerhouse hop to freely intermingle with our house yeast character. A balanced, purposeful, degree of bitterness keeps the palate soft and the finish clean.

Colors IPA is loaded with and saturated by a kaleidoscope of American and New Zealand hop expression. We get wave after wave of flavors and aromas reminiscent of enriched orange juice, cantaloupe, dried mango, passionfruit and fruit stripe gum characteristics. Gentle bitterness and a creamy mouthfeel allow Colors to seemingly dance across the palate.

A delicate grain bill of Pilsner malt and a sprinkle of Caramalt quickly give way to a firm bitterness and mouth enveloping hop flavor.

LeBron Haze IPA- The King has come to the west so we’re marking the occasion with this lupulin laden liquid small forward. Using only Pilsner malt as well as high percentages of both oats and wheat, there’s nothing clogging the lanes to prevent this hop bill from dunking on your taste buds. Uh-oh, better watch those hands because it looks like we just got the +1, meaning we double dry hopped this beast with Australian Galaxy just for good measure. Creamy, pillowy mouthfeel, vibrant hazy gold appearance and wafting with fruity, juicy, tropical citrus aromas.

Inspired by the amazing brewers of France and Belgium this beer uses our uber awesome Sinner ale yeast. Mild phenol and esters peak through with an impression of spicy pear, clove and vanilla. Subtle bready malt presence is complimented with a subtle woody/grassy hop aroma and a firm crisp bitterness. Excellent paired with Moules-frites or a carnitas burrito.

In looking at our beer line up we felt what was missing was an IPA solely designed for San Diego living. With that in mind, the hop to highlight was kinda a no brainer- Citra. We chose to counter balance the Citra with the ever classic Columbus. Wafting with aromas and subsequent flavors of grapefruit, melon, lime, passion fruit and lychee with lurking earthy and pine notes this beer is ideal for a refill...or 2.

American-style wheat beer brewed with Pineapple & Piloncillo sugar. Piloncillo is a super dark and unrefined sugar that is very molasses and dark fruit forward. During fermentation we added a whole mess of Pineapple puree which results in a complex yet refreshing beer which we feel is perfect for the upcoming warm days and cool nights of fall.
