Beneath the Canopy, our contribution to this collaboration, is a murky IPA featuring Citra, Cascade, and Cashmere hops. Its medium-light body is filled with scents of lime, lemon-vanilla sorbet, and cantaloupe peel, along with flavors of sweet orange, pineapple, and kiwi. Beneath the Canopy is more than just a delectable brew; it's a commitment to conservation. The golden stout is the ultimate paradox of the beer world. Winslow created our version to bend the senses with additions of Organic Shade Grown Coffee Coffee (Costa Rica), Organic Cocoa (Dominican Republic) and Organic Cacao Nibs (Ghana). While golden in color, deep aromas and flavors of roastiness and chocolate appear over a background of vanilla. We built this mammoth Murky Triple IPA on a blended base of @admiralmaltingsPils malt grown organically by John Crawford of Cascade Farms in Tulelake, CA, plus Premium Two Row malt from Great Western Malting. Then we dry hopped it with an enormous amount of hops sourced from around the world. The result is an incredibly easy drinking brew considering its ABV, with delightfully sweet citrus notes, almost reminiscent of Tang.

Hefeweizen is the original Murky beer, and we did this one as a tribute to the style. Clean and crisp, with light banana and clove notes, plus a hint of lemon on the nose. The malt backbone is a combination of malted wheat and organic German Pilsner malts. Medium body, high carbonation, and a moderately dry finish make this brew extremely drinkable.

The root of this murky quintuple IPA's flavor profile comes from the addition of eight pounds of Mosaic, Motueka, and Wai-iti hops per barrel. Expect essences of sweet pineapple, honeycomb and dank to mingle with tastes of tangerine marmalade, cantaloupe and passion fruit. But beware, this wonder stands up to its namesake (the tallest living tree in the world)—its medium body and creamy mouthfeel make it amazingly drinkable for its lofty ABV.

We are particularly thrilled about this beer because we played a role in the breeding process of Superdelic through our involvement in NZ Hops’ Bract Brewing Programme. (Fun fact: We may also be one of the first breweries to use this new hop varietal in a commercial beer!) This DIPA features a complex blend of fruity aromas, including peach, strawberry, and raspberry. Sips are filled with a harmonious blend of mango, sweet citrus, and white floral notes. This collaboration with our friends from Berkeley, CA-based Fieldwork Brewing Co is one bear of a brew. We put our collective knowledge of brewing dank, murky, hoppy beers together and came up with a hefty Murky Double IPA with notes of peach, pineapple, and passion fruit with a ridiculously smooth finish. It’s all good, from Diego to the bay!

Sacred Space, our Belgian-style single with Saaz hops, makes its canned debut! Not only that, but it's the very first can-conditioned beer we've ever released. Inspired by Trappist Monks who traditionally brew this style of beer and naturally carbonate it, this ale dons a pale color with a lacy white head. It will greet you palette with soft malt upfront, thanks to its all-California grain bill, and is rounded out by a dry, firm bitterness. Essences of pear, white pepper, and clove from the expression of a Belgian yeast strain intermingle with a spicy-floral hop character. This enchanting brew of yesteryear is perfect for springtime enjoyment.

We put our heads together with our friends Vitamin Sea Brewing from Massachusetts to expand our views on what a modern Murky Double IPA should be. We chose some of our favorite hops for this collaboration, providing notes of mango, peach rings, and a hint of diesel that burst through the brew.
