Style: Brown Ale

Our head roaster Paul focuses on the specific flavors and essences of our single origin coffees and, in so doing, roasts with lighter profiles. This allows the bean to express more of its natural flavors and unique qualities. So instead of brewing a coffee porter or a coffee stout, we decided to go with a lighter nut brown ale recipe that allows the coffee to show through both in the aroma and in the finish.

	The Shop Beer Co. - Desert Pale Ale Style: American Pale Ale ABV: 6.50% IBU: 90.0 We took an American Pale Ale and strapped on an Arizona desert twist. It’s a great Pale Ale dry hopped with Cascade and Citra Hops that gives it a nice clean hoppy start and a smooth, sweet finish coming from the organic agave syrup.

	The Shop Beer Co. - F.Y.I.T.M. Style: Double IPA ABV: 10.10% IBU: 110.0 We’ve started to refer to the F.Y.I.T.M. as the D.P.A.’s bigger brother. Its father is a blend of 6 different Hop additions and its mother is enough grain to choke a horse. These two met, fell in love and conceived this freak of nature. The end result is a bigger, stronger, faster and creepier beer. God help us all.
