Azazel Belgian Golden Ale IS BACK. Starting with the quintessential Belgian Golden, Duvel, the names of these beers often reference the devil...and for good reason. This beer is named for Azazel, the evil scapegoat of the old testament. He'll try to lure you into oblivion with soft pale malt and fruity flavors of pear, bubblegum, over-ripe mango, lack of dignity and spice from the Belgian yeast and the herbal hit of hops. As you frolic in the fizzy-fun bubbles and the sweet boozy warmth washes over you, keep your wits about you. Danger lurks ahead.

While in Bamberg, Germany for brewing school, it was apparent that an old frontier of brewing was rarely crossed in the states - Smoked beer. This clean, crisp, straw colored and amazingly clear version harkens to a time when all malt had to be dried by way of open fires instead of large industrial ovens. More smoked beer must be made, and made in the world’s other smoke capital of Memphis, TN.

As he fell through the starless abyss, in swooped Senorita Nighthawk, grabbing him by the neck scruff and flapping him off further into the darkness. There they came upon Archduke Flying Bear, and they all sang a song of bliss and ignorance and beers and laughter before going poof and becoming nothing. This nothing becomes an ethereal smooth dark lager from Thuringia.
