Festbier is a German lager style that came to replace the Marzen lagers served during hte Munich Oktoberfest in the late 20th Century. Golden in Color and very easy to drink, it has traits similar to helles and Maibock - a lasting white head, malty backbone, spicy and floral hop bite, moderately full body, adn a dry finish.

Bentonville Brewing Co. - Rasperry Weisse Day

ABV: 3.70% IBU: 4.0

Low in alcohol and Refreshingly tart, this Berliner-style Weisse presents a harmony between yeast and lactic acid. These beers are very pale in color and may be cloudy as they are often unfiltered. Hops are not a feature of this style so they often do not have any bitterness at all. Instead, flavors will be acidic with notes of white bread and graham cracker. This particular Weisse, has raspberry added to give the flavor a fruity sweet-tart kick.
