Booneshine Brewing Co. - Electric Hellbender
Style: New England IPA
ABV: 6.50% IBU: 38.0

A triple dry hopped beast of a beer, brewed as a tribute to the giant hellbender salamander. Growing over two feet long, this ancient solitary creature is the largest amphibian in North America. Electric Hellbender features citra and el dorado hops, along with pilsen malt, honey malt, flaked wheat, and flaked oats. Juice is the word, is the word that you heard.

	Booneshine Brewing Co. - Elk Knob Style: Red Ale ABV: 5.60% IBU: 19.0 Climbing one of the many peaks in the high country is always rewarding, especially during the Fall season. Elk Knob Amber Ale is a medium body amber ale with a crisp caramel sweetness, along with just a hint of dark raisins and biscuit from the malted barley. This red-hued amber ale embodies Carolina in the Fall.

The Northern Peaks Trail Craft Beer Series is a partnership among High Country breweries to educate and inspire our community towards the creation of North Carolina’s newest state trail, located right in here in the High Country.

The High Country is blessed with many rivers suitable for floating, fishing, and rafting. The South Fork of the New River (one of the oldest rivers in the world) is a favorite place for locals to visit during the Summer. South Fork Grapefruit Gose is light and refreshing with a small addition of grapefruit oil to compliment the traditional lemon sourness of the Gose style. Thanks to Daniel at New River Distilling for the amazing grapefruit oil.
