This beer is billed as being brewed in the traditional English “winter warmer” style with plenty of crystal and roasted grains yielding a complex, malty flavor. That sweetness is balanced by East Kent Goldings hops added during the boil, along with an American-sized dose of dryhopped Cascade and Sorachi Ace. The result is a 7% ABV brew with coffee, toffee, and roasted flavors accentuated by a citrusy and spicy hop kick.
