Breakfast Stout is North Dock Head Brewer Alan Simons’ original recipe featuring one of his favorite ingredients. He’s a self-described “coffee beer person” who at home has four ways to make coffee at any given time. Simons created this beer with two coffee varieties, Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and Guatemalan Codeche. This sessionable coffee bomb of a stout that gets its hint of milk from the addition of lactose and its roastiness from a generous dose of Coda Coffee. This stout is lighter-bodied (because, hey, it’s forbreakfast!) with a rich chocolate aroma and subtle caramel notes. Good morning.

A spin-off of American Light Lagers, cream ales utilize adjuncts and ale yeast. We use flaked corn in addition to the quality malted barley we use in our other beers. This "ale" was fermented with our house ale yeast at a much cooler temperature than normal to give it a crisper, cleaner yeast profile more reminiscent of lagers. What you have in your hand is a crushable beer similar to what you might find at a ceremonial dinner. And we like that way.

Our newest seasonal is a perfect-for-summer refresher and a unique take on the traditional -- and tart -- German gose beer style. With a pale straw color and a hint of haze, it features a heady nose of fresh basil and sliced cucumber. These aromatic charms are followed by a bracing sourness and emphatic lemony and licorice-ish basil flavors, all matched with cuke notes and a noticeable smack of salt.

Cold brew coffee was added to Dry Dock’s naked porter, which was aged in whiskey barrels to create this complex beer. Double Coffee Porter smells of roasted coffee and oak staves, with hints of dark chocolate and nuttiness to taste. This beer’s creamy body comes from the addition of flaked barley.

Dry Dock’s Sour Apricot was developed out of a series of kettle sour experiments at South Dock, created by adding Lactobacillus in the wort prior to fermentation. This approachable sour ale strikes an elegant balance of sour and sweet, hence the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote on the can. Refreshingly tart and fruity with bright effervescence, Sour Apricot packs rich apricot flavor in every can while retaining just the right amount of acidity.
