Astronomical Twilight has a luscious body and a full flavor profile of watermelon limeade meets mixed berry and liquid watermelon jolly rancher. Breaking Enigma uses wheat and oats as a grain base and is then heavily hopped with Enigma and a touch of Citra for balance. This beer pours bright yellow and has aroma of tropical fruit, berry and stone fruit. Upon tasting, we get assorted berries, tropical fruit, citrus, and a touch of Pinot Gris. The beer is resinous with a great blend of #EQjuice and dank earth at finish.

E=MC², and C is the universal symbol for the speed of light. We based this beer off of our beloved Photon pale ale but amped up the hop ratios and gave this beer our Energy treatment. This method improves aroma, enhances flavor and body by pulling the most out of from each hop. C pours a bright straw yellow and has a beautiful nose that wafts up as soon as the can is cracked open. Balanced and luscious, it has deep flavors of stone fruit, pineapple, and mango thanks to the increased hopping rates. Can It Be All So Simple aka CIBASS returns today! We revisited the shared brewing philosophies to bring back our very first collab in its original form. We turned off the EQjuice and brewed it just like the first time around with our hand selected Mosaic and Galaxy at an even hoppier rate. Pouring a hazy and vivid yellow, CIBASS releases pure hop expression of bright notes of Dole pineapple juice, tropical citrus, and blueberry with an aroma that mirrors the balanced and drinkable taste.

The Chaos Theory is also seen in Fractals, which are complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales. They are created by repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing loop. Fractals are literally pictures of Chaos. Chaos Theory uses our Fractal fermentation profile, a grain bill of flaked oats and flaked wheat, and for the first time with this profile, a hop bill of Citra, Strata, Galaxy. The outcome is an easy-drinking beer packed with bold flavors lined with a hoppy creaminess. A papaya and tropical nectar nose leads to luscious flavors of navel orange, passionfruit, pineapple chunks, grassy resin, and Lemonhead candy. A hoppy bitterness is balanced by our #EQjuice finish and a creamy mouthfeel.

This 4.5% Berliner Weisse was designed to have a light and pillowy base before being conditioned on copious amounts of pink guava, dragon fruit, and passion fruit. Prior to its release, this amazing fruit combination was fully refermented, and the cellulose has been removed for a better drinking experience. Color Cloud Pink pours neon pink with a tropical fruit cart nose. Sip on layers and layers of tart, refreshing island fruit atop a fluffy base with a touch of effervescence and our #balancedacidity.

Our Sour IPA with Pink guava, raspberries, blueberries, a touch of lactose and Citra and El Dorado hops. •Acid Level: Balanced. This is not kettle soured. We used our farmhouse technology to create a very gentle and elegant acid profile. •Fruit: Refermented to a stable gravity, cold crashed, and separated. Cotton Candy Sky pours a melted pink-purple cotton candy color releasing tropical purple rain. Aromas and flavors of pristine guava, pears, candied strawberries, and mango dance with assorted berries over a mesocyclone of dragon fruit color supported by a soft well-rounded body. dC/dt is the most technologically advanced DIPA we’ve made to date. It utilizes new hardware in unique ways to bring you a beer that’s on the same level as SOTL and Adrestia. Introducing Mass Fluxes into a Control Volume leads to a change in concentration over a change in time or dC/dt, which allows for the construction of a predictive juice model. The gold line on the label is the actual calibrated mathematical model of the EQ juice compared to data in “Relative Yuminess Units” provided by the expert palates of Ryan and OG Kyle. To test the insight gained by this model, which suggested new hardware, we supersized an old favorite: Fractal Citra. The ingredients: Pale Malt + Citra. This DIPA underwent our fractal fermentation (the backbone of dHop5) and received large doses of citra hops in this brand new process. dC/dt pours a hazy straw yellow and has aromas of freshly squeezed OJ, melon, lime, grapefruit, and a tropical character that gives you a vacation in a glass. dHop2 is a DIPA that investigates the interplay between our ale strain and an intensive Mosaic and Citra forward hop bill woven four times into its creative process. It pours a very murky tangerine color, releasing notes of orange juice (with pulp) and earthy grass. The taste is highly resinous, dank-citrus, pine juice, with a chewy mouth feel and a firm and pointed bitterness.

We altered our water profile, upped the bitterness, extended the cold crashing, and left out all the soft and fluffy grains to let the simple grain bill and Simcoe with a touch of citra shine with clarity. Named after the famous Circular Inversion Set pictured on the label, we combined a simple 2-row base malt bill, and a mix of some of our favorite New Zealand hops highlighting our hand selected Nelson and Riwaka. Einstein’s Yellow Cake starts off with an MC² base before being conditioned on Marshmallows, Toasted Coconut, and Orange Zest for a creamy dessert style DIPA. Aromas of orange creamsicle and coconut fluff lead into flavors of tropical citrus, frosted cake, orange sherbet, and coconut candy. We took aspects of our favorite past brews and integrated them to express a single manifestation of Equilibrium. Enso takes the grain bill and fermentation of dHop5, uses a hybrid Citra/Galaxy hopbill of dHop5 and Dreamwave Fluctuation, a touch of lactose like Dreamwave Fluctuation, and applies our energy treatment. Enso pours a beautiful milky bright yellow with aromas of passion fruit, assorted citrus, pineapple, and sorbet. The flavor has bright notes of passion fruit, melon, and peach all coming together in a creamy lime push pop ending. This beer is soft and drinkable and ends with our signature #EQjuice finish in perfectly balanced form.

Epsilon is our sessionable 4.2% American Porter. Epsilon means a small positive quantity and is the little version of Mobius. Upon pouring, mocha-colored bubbles cascade to quickly turn into an off-white bright head sitting on a near black silky body releasing notes of roasted coffee, milk chocolate, light toffee, and just a hint of floral and earthy hops. Epsilon is beautifully balanced from water chemistry manipulation that yields a full mouthfeel that’s not cloyingly sweet but incredibly drinkable. This beer is extremely small and crushable for its amount of flavor.

When it was time to dry hop we added an unholy amount of Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, Sabro, and our favorite Victorian Galaxy. Milky yellow in color, Even Less Holy has aromas of candied pineapple, passionfruit and fruit stripes. Flavors of tropical passionfruit, tangelos, peach skins, Fankenberry cereal, lime and pineapple Nerds candy come together in a creamy mouthfeel and a bright rainbow melon EQjuice finish.

Using a mashed up grain bill from Straight Outta The Laboratory and Ghost in The Machine, we used a massive dose of CO2 extract, Citra Incognito, and our hand selected Citra T-90s on the hotside followed by an insane amount of Citra LUPOMAX and our hand selected Citra T-90s for the Double Dry Hop; the heaviest dry-hop in Equilibrium’s history. When the Harland crew from San Diego came by a few weeks ago, they tried the relatively new hop from @yakimachief HBC586 from a beer that we had on tap. Like us, they instantly fell in love with all of its saturated mango goodness and the principle hop for our collab was chosen. Using HBC586 and a touch of Citra in the whirlpool we dry hopped with Citra, Strata, and HBC586 and then put a Harland twist on things by adding a marshmallow Fluff treatment and Lab Fluff was born. Equilibrium Brewery - Super Fractal Mandlebrot Set
Style: Triple IPA
ABV: 10.50%

The Mandelbrot Set is named after Mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot. It’s a set of complex numbers for which the function does not diverge and are bounded in absolute value. Following the previous Fractal Sets and continuing the series framework, we scaled up from Fractal using a super simple grain bill of 2row and our specific fractal fermentation profile before intensely hoping it with a Citra whirlpool and a dryhop of Sabro, Strata Galaxy, and Amarillo. Super Fractal Mandelbrot Set pours a vivid hazy yellow with an aroma of tropical citrus and grapefruit. The flavor comes alive with decadent tangerine, stone fruit, and berry, with a touch of coconut and a zesty lime finish. Dramatic fruit notes take the lead as a crushable and #EQjuice profile builds up into a smooth and creamy finish that will leave you seeing the biggest fractal reflections yet.

Equilibrium Brewery - Super Fractal Phoenix Set
Style: Triple IPA

The Phoenix set consists of values such that an arbitrarily small change can cause drastic changes in the sequence of iterated function values (duh) resulting in beautiful shapes and lots of spirals. Keeping with our fractal tradition, we started off with a super simple grain bill of 2row and our specific fractal fermentation profile. We used a big Citra and Idaho 7 whirlpool with some of our favorite hops in the dry hop: Citra, Sabro, Strata, and Galaxy.

When Karl and Evan were up to Collab there was a lot of fun about one of our favorite 80’s movies because of Pete’s Cobra Kai inspired jean jacket vest (see Collab pic from a few weeks ago. Shout out to Matty!). Not knowing then that this beer would be released in a time of crisis to friends, peers, and industry; it sends an important message of resilience and not giving up. As taught by Mr. Miyagi: Much of life’s adversity is out of your control and can seem unfair, but that’s no excuse to accept defeat. These situations can be a key component of growth. Covid-19 may be sweeping our legs now, but let’s show them our Crane Kick. We hope you’re hanging in there and staying safe. Flaked oats and wheat make up the base before a Citra and Simcoe whirlpool. We dry hopped it with Citra, Galaxy, Sabro, Motueka and Simcoe. This beer pours a bright hazy yellow and has an aroma of passion fruit meets pot. We then dry hopped with our debut of the new hop Australian Eclipse, Citra, and Nelson. This is Your Brain On Science pours hazy and bright with aromas of tangerine marmalade and concord grape and,… well… think Trix cereal. Flavors are a creamy, bright, and refreshing mix of pineapple, mango push-up popsicle, lime, and Welch’s grape juice with a dank pine backbone and a touch of bitterness that will have your electrically brain signals dancing.

Equilibrium Brewery - Uncorked- Batch 2
Style: DIPA
ABV: 8.50%

The grapes are out of the bottle for your taste buds to explore what they’ve been craving and for you to experience all the little moments, laughter, and conversations with friends that happen during a wine tasting. Uncorked starts with a grain bill loaded with wheat and oats and uses our new hand-selected Nelson. To complement the wine notes we chose in this hop, we let this beer condition on Sauvignon Blanc juice. Uncorked pours a creamy yellow, releasing notes and flavors of passionfruit, honey dew, lime, green apple, and gooseberry during a lovely picnic in the New Zealand Grasslands. Feel free to get uncorked and let loose.

	Equilibrium Brewery - Wavelength Style: American IPA ABV: 6.50% We started with oats and white wheat for a base before adding Simcoe and Mosaic to the whirlpool. To get some berry medley notes going we dry hopped with Mosaic and Citra at a 2:1 ratio. Wavelength pours bright yellow with aromas of citrus and stone fruit with crushable flavors of mango and berry with a light refreshing finish.

Equilibrium Brewery - What's Past is Present: Voodoo Collab
Style: Imperial Double IPA
ABV: 8.50% IBU: 65.0

What’s Past Is Present stands for the idea that history sets the context for the present. We gave one of out first collabs brewed in Meadville a new spin with our Incognito process we’ve been using for our latest collabs. With a fluffy oat and wheat base, we used Citra Incognito, and our hand selected Citra and Nelson T90’s for the whirlpool with an incredibly big dry-hop of Nelson and Victorian Galaxy. Pouring vivid yellow, aromas of groove stand OJ and limeade morph into flavors of overripe papaya, pineapple and gooseberry, leading into Pinot Gris grapes and a touch fresh cut grass with a pointed and saturated hop bitterness. The beer is thick and pulpy with a beautiful rainbow melon EQ Juice finish.
