With tasting notes of blueberry creamsicle, this fruited hazy IPA follows our ex-machina inspired series.

Awaken to a field of trees sparked by pink arcs of electricity. Mind a daze and stuck in this haze of everlasting gobs on gobs on gobs. Float down the bladed grass, soft and round tipped. Still the arcs spark on each side while spheres of yellow break overhead, their juices cascading down the branches. My eyes turn green to red but at the stop sign there’s no traffic ahead. Should a beer ever be forever connected to tacos, it would be this manifestation of amber awesomeness. A toasty malt sweetness emanates from the glass. The purpose of the Native Land Beer movement is to further visibility of Native people and to generate resources to support Native organizations whose work focuses on ecological stewardship and strengthening Native communities. After some thoughtful research, we chose the Hawai'i Land Trust to be the recipient of the proceeds from this beer. We can’t remember the specific day but the feeling will never fade. One afternoon Pete Slosberg of Pete’s Wicked Ale, one of the most influential beers in developing craft beer, stopped by Hana Koa to check out our rendition of Janet’s Brown Ale. We immediately stopped working to hangout with Pete and eventually learned of his long vacation. We got together a bunch of our friends in town to brew Pete’s Wicked Ale as a LAGER! Dry hopped with Saphir and Loral, notes of strawberry and rye bread add to a most refreshing lager. Brewed in collaboration with Broken Boundary Brewery, Honolulu Beer Works, Stewbum and Stonewall Brewing Company, and Waikiki Brewing Company.
