Schilling Cider - Chai Cider

ABV: 6.90%

Seattle-based MarketSpice's caffeine-free rooibos chai tea mix was extracted via both hot and cold processes, bringing put subtle tannins as well as characteristic spicy aromatics. The tea was then infused with cider made with an expressive, fruity yeast that lends to nutty and tropical notes. The flavors melded and mellowed as they aged four months.

The first of our cocktail series, Moscow Mule features a blend of zesty lime and spicy ginger, crafted with fresh-pressed apple cider. With locally sourced ginger, we collaborated with the cocktail experts at Portland syrups to create a refreshing delight for anytime of day. A very small amount of Japanese Chili is used to elevate the bite of ginger.
