Flamingose is a tart and salty German style Gose beer made with pineapple and pays tribute to Utah's own "Pink Floyd" the Flamingo. If your not familiar with Floyd, he was a Chilean Flamingo that freed himself from his home at SLC's Tracey Aviary in 1990. Floyd took up residence at the Great Salt Lake immediately and somehow thrived. He's called the briny lake home ever since. Floyd's current whereabouts are unknown.

Ready Set Gose pours a hazy straw color with a moderate-to-thin fizzy pillow of foam on top. The nose is mostly of lemon—there is a bit of raw bread dough lingering in the back that’s quite inviting as well. The taste starts with some crusty cereal grain and fresh wheat bread. There’s a minor sodium bite that comes in next, turning the cereal and doughy notes into table crackers.

India Pale Ale brewed with Tangerines. We played with several fruit variants ultimately landing on tangerine as the citrus flavors and aroma was harmonious with the natural characteristics of the new-world hop varietals used in this product. This beer is refreshing and tart, yet still boasts hop bitterness expected from an IPA.

Two years ago, we had the unique opportunity to contract a single plot of an experimental hop variety known only as HBC 692. This batch of hops was recently harvested, and we’re proud to share 692’s unique qualities with you in this fourth Crooked Line release based on a New England- style hazy IPA. The hop variety presents outstanding aroma and flavor, with tropical and citrus notes in the fore to punctuate the smooth creaminess of the body.
