Zipline Brewing Co. - Kolsch

Attempting to make a lager, historic conditions prevented the Kolsch beer from fermenting cool enough to qualify as a true lager. Our version drinks like a German Pils or Pale Lager, but with less bitterness and a slight fruitiness imparted by the unique yeast strain. Bright, straw-yellow, and smooth, Kolsch is a perfect summer lawnmower beer.

Our Oatmeal Porter incorporates the smooth creaminess of organic rolled oats with mysterious dark chocolate and coffee undertones. This porter was our original winter seasonal, but an angry mob of cult followers threatened us when we proposed to stop brewing it. Tropical Cloudlifter hazy IPA is a one-time beer that's a slightly higher ABV version of their year-round Cloudlifter hazy IPA dosed with loads of passionfruit and pineapple. It's made with Sultana, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops, as well as pilsner malt, wheat, and oats. The special additions serve to further enhance the juicy, pineapple and orange-y character of the base beer.
