Paying homage to the Simcoe hop; this crushable IPA has a touch of crystal malt, candy-like sweetness, to balance the hoppy aroma and flavor. Some may get a catty character from Simcoe; however, we think it's a kick ass hop. Big flavors of citrus, pine, and melon; followed by an aroma of tropical fruit and melon. This IPA is crisp, clean, and super tasty.

The taste you love without all the haze! Do you crave the big juicy flavor of hops in your favorite brews, but worry you have to compromise on clarity? "I Can't Believe It's Not Hazy" is clean clear and tastes just as delicious! A simple grain bill and with a healthy dose of Vienna malt lend this beer a pillowy softer than air mouth feel. With enough people asking for an Altamont and Moonraker collaboration, wanting it to be hazy, and hoppy....we both decided it should happen. The solution...a West Coast, CLEAR, JUICY, IIPA! The 100% Weyermann Cologne malt attributes to the golden color and solid malt foundation. The hops had to be the best; danky and tropical...a blend of Mosaic, Galaxy, and EXP 07270. The end result; KAPT’N Kush, an 8.5% IIPA, juicy, hoppy, and awesomely danky beer...straight kush!

When Steve and Ken sat down to brainstorm the collab beer, there was only two things in mind; hops and IPA. A simple grain bill of 2-Row , wheat, and crystal malt allows the hops to do all the talking. Loaded with Amarillo, Simcoe, Galaxy, and Mosaic hops; this beer has a distinct tropical flavor. Huge notes of guava, papaya, and pineapple are big on the palate and nose; followed by a slight touch of dank.
