ONE DAY THESE GEARS WILL GRIND TO A HALT. UNTIL THEN, WE WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT THIS EVIL ENGINE. “E v i l Engine” is a Strawberry Cheesecake Sour Ale. Mashed with a base of Riverbend Malt 2-Row along with Wheat, Flaked Oats, and a touch of Dextrin Malt. Soured overnight in our kettle, slathered in Lactose, fermented with our House IPA yeast and then refermented singularly with a whole mess of Strawberries before conditioning on a hint of fresh-ground Cinnamon and a tasteful amount of Cheesecake. We left out the Honey Malt this time and used a bit more fruit than normal to really get that fruit:cheesecake ratio right. Hope ya dig it. Or not. It’s whatever. We experience a big ol’ slice of Cheesecake simply covered in Strawberry jam with a nice and light Cinnamon dusting, a delicious and quenching Friendly’s Strawberry Frappe, and exactly three pieces of dried Strawberry rehydrating in your mouth while you cut up a Cheesecake for your dinner guests that you really weren’t expectin
