Style: Munich Dunkel Lager

This 5.8% naughty Dark Lager packs a wallop of lucious dark flavors and just a kiss of hop presence. Mashed at just the right temperature emphasizing our favorite Riverbend malt Munich and Pilsner Malt, and a touch of our favorite dark malt to truly embrace the darkness. Hopped delicately in the kettle to balance it all out. Fermented with our House Lager Yeast extra cold for an unbelievably clean finish. We experience soft baked pretzels dipped in dark milk chocolate, a bowl of steel cut oats spritzed with honey, a soft velvety palette, and a caramelized nuttiness all wrapped up in a weighted blanket of hops.

Style: Pilsner
ABV: 4.90%

This beauty started with a traditional Czech water profile and a base of 100% Riverbend Cumberland Pilsner malt, was tickled in the Kettle with some German Saaz hops, and then suplexed in the Whirlpool with a punishing amount of even more Saaz. Fermented cool with our preferred Lager strain, spunded for 100% natural carbonation, and then cold-conditioned to perfection in a Horizontal Lager Tank. Traditional through and through, this baby leaves nothing to be desired.

An American Lager with an extra focus on technique. We took our first attempt at a decoction mash and we are stoked with the results! We brewed this with all German Pilsner malt, some Tettnang for bittering, and a hint of Rakau in the whirlpool for a little touch of something fruit forward. From there we fermented this slow and low, allowing time for the beer to condition and get nice and crushable. This beer pours with a thick white head and has notes of toasted bread in the aroma, with a crisp, clean, and well balanced bitterness that makes this lager your perfect grilling beer.

Dry hopped once with Michigan Copper, and then dry-hopped a second time with EVEN MORE Michigan Copper and Mandarina Bavaria, along with a hefty dose of Zappa and a whole bunch of Mosaic Lupomax.

Soured overnight in our Kettle, then boiled and hit in the Whirlpool with a bevy of Coriander and a blend of Sea Salts. Fermented on the cooler side with our House IPA yeast, and absolutely pummeled with Watermelon and Mango. A Summer treat for sure! Notes of…Watermelon, Mango, Sea Salt, and Coriander. Yep. ONE DAY THESE GEARS WILL GRIND TO A HALT. UNTIL THEN, WE WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT THIS EVIL ENGINE. “E v i l Engine” is a Strawberry Cheesecake Sour Ale. Mashed with a base of Riverbend Malt 2-Row along with Wheat, Flaked Oats, and a touch of Dextrin Malt. Soured overnight in our kettle, slathered in Lactose, fermented with our House IPA yeast and then refermented singularly with a whole mess of Strawberries before conditioning on a hint of fresh-ground Cinnamon and a tasteful amount of Cheesecake. We left out the Honey Malt this time and used a bit more fruit than normal to really get that fruit:cheesecake ratio right. Hope ya dig it. Or not. It’s whatever. We experience a big ol’ slice of Cheesecake simply covered in Strawberry jam with a nice and light Cinnamon dusting, a delicious and quenching Friendly’s Strawberry Frappe, and exactly three pieces of dried Strawberry rehydrating in your mouth while you cut up a Cheesecake for your dinner guests that you really weren’t expectin

DSSOLVR - Frenzied Chalice
Style: Coffee Pilsner
ABV: 4.80%

We wanted to take a brand new approach to a “Coffee Pilsner” and our Cellar Manager Jorge thought a Cuban Coffee focus could be just the ticket! So we started with a 100% riverbend malt base of Chesapeake Pilsner and a dash of Chit Malt. We then took a restrained approach to the water profile, and dosed in UK Fuggles throughout the boil and Whirlpool for an herbal, grassy, and restrained presence. We then fermented it low and slow with our House Lager yeast, spunded that fermentation for the natural carbonation, and laid it down to rest in a Horizontal Lager Tank for many-a-moon. Toward the end of cold conditioning, we house-processed a big batch of Cold Brew from the one-and-only Cafe Bustelo Cuban Coffee, and then selected a beautiful blend of cooperative coffee beans, both Gravity and Levity, for extra depth and complexity. “King Fang” is another installment in our new, fun, sexy, and BLARING METAL AF Stouts. This one’s a Maple Banana Toasted Coconut Stout, and it’s sort of a follow-up to “Petro Dragon”. So if ya dug that, you’ll love this. Mashed with a base of Riverbend malt Southern Select, Munich, and Vienna, alongside a hefty smattering of Proximity malt Crystal and Roasted malts. Fermented with our preferred Pub Ale yeast, spunded for dat natty carb, and then conditioned on a big ole’ heaping pile of Wild Thai Banana, Toasted Macaroon Coconut, and a slathering of Maple. It’s kinda like walking into a bakery and getting a freshly toasted slice of Chocolate Coconut Banana Bread, and then dipping that bad lil’ number in some Maple Syrup. Pomegranate Mixed Berry Daiquiri Gose meant to transport you right into Summertime poolside vibes. Mashed with a base of Riverbend Malt 2-Row, along with Proximity Malt Wheat, and Flaked Oats. Soured overnight in our kettle, then boiled and hit in the Whirlpool with a bevy of Coriander and a blend of Sea Salts. Fermented on the cooler side with our House IPA yeast, and absolutely pummeled with Lime, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Blackberry, and Blueberry. Very similar to “Death is a Party”, our Peach Daiquiri Gose, with some tweaks that definitely boosted this one up a few notches.

Our inaugural Fruited Gose started with a simple grist of Pilsner, Wheat, and Caramel Wheat malts, along with a complex blend of Sea Salts and Coriander, and just a little Lactose for balance. We then conditioned it on an quarrelsome amount of Peach and Blackberry, giving it a truly exemplary rounded finish. Notes include overripe berry compote, that first, juicy Peach of the season, lunchboxes overfilled with fruit rolls, and just a hint of fresh-ground Coriander. All wrapped up in a pleasing balance of acidity and slight salinity on the finish. Oh, hell yeah, DAWG!

THE MIGHTY MUSCA IS HERE TO WIELD HIS POWER OF THE DANK AND STICKY! AND WIELD IT, HE WILLLLLLLL! Mashed with a base that’s essentially a hybrid of our two breweries' base IPAs: Riverbend 2-row Base Camp, Proximity malt Oats and Wheat, and a dose of Flaked Oats and Dextrin Malt. Definitely more protein than we’re used to, but with all the local/Southern malt we could stuff in there. We then hopped it in the Whirlpool with the almighty Mosaic to lay down a smooth base, fermented it with our House IPA yeast, and then dry hopped it with a fat dose of HBC1019. The second dry hop was massive and punishing, with a blend of Mosaic, HBC1019, Strata CGX, and a very special lot of Riwaka grown by Eggers farms in New Zealand. We reached out to the Eggers crew and selected this Riwaka SPECIFICALLY for it’s high oil profile with notes of “dank, diesel, resin, weed-ish, lime zest”, and it did NOT disappoint. Fermented low and slow with our House Lager yeast, spunded for 100% natural carbonation, and Lagered in a Horizontal Tank for many moons. You know how we do. Notes of Haribo gummies, a mouthful of soup crackers, fresh-cut grass, a lovely floral bouquet from that special someone, followed by a soft and snappy wave of straw, melon rind, and sunshine. Light, fruity, crisp, and crushable.

Pretty much this is an Uncrustable that’s been injected with an extra helping of FLUFFFF. “Pyramid Games” is the closest thing to a House IPA we have, and it’s back. An everyday crusher that has a little bit of everything: Fruity, dank, piney, hazy, juicy, crushable. Mashed with a medley of @riverbend 2-Row, Golden Naked Oats, mountains of Flaked Oats, and a touch of Dextrin Malt. Hopped aggressively throughout the boil and multiple dry-hops with a phenomenal trio of Sabro, Idaho 7, and Ekuanot. Fermented with our House IPA yeast for dat juice treatment, spunded for natural carb, blah blah blah. You know the deal. A super balanced IPA slathered in Pineapple hard candies, some Pears and miscellaneous soft stone fruit, cold Pina Coladas in your cup, and just enough dankness to tie it all together. Besos, baby.

The second IPA in our Juice Life Cycle, Raised in the Juicy. This time around, we paired a complex grist of Maris Otter, Red Wheat, and White Wheat with a hop bill of Chinook, Michigan Chinook, Michigan Cascade, and Mosaic to create a surreal blend of fruity and dank hop punches with a solid malt foundation. And just look at that handsome little guy riding the horsey! How could you say no to a face like that?

GLUTEN FREE and LACTOSE FREE Fruited Sour with Tangerine, Marshmallow, Vanilla, and…a whole lot of Lucky Charms cereal. So much cereal. Like, hundreds of pounds of cereal. Sheesh. Pretty much a bowl of Lucky Charms drizzled with a small dash of Tangerine juice and Vanilla to really bump up the jams. Massive Marshmallow character up front, followed by a tidal wave of Oat-y and Vanilla Cake-y sorta things or whatever those puffs are called, and a really cool sweet-sour balance to it all.

This lil’ ditty is an IPA mashed with a base of Riverbend 2-Row and a melange of Oats and Wheat, then hit in the Whirlpool with a very heavy dose of Motueka. Fermented with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped with a whole mess of Columbus, spunded for 100% natural carbonation, and finally double-dry-hopped with a murderous and violent amount of Nelson, Motueka, Columbus, Enigma, and a touch of Citra Cryo for that good-good top note. A super silky body followed up with notes of fresh cantaloupe, melon rind, biting into a juicy pink starburst, and a whole mess of sticky-icky. Hell yeah, this baby rips!

A classic Citra-Mosaic combo for the hop blend, and then loaded up with El Dorado as a third hop in this beautiful symphony of juice. The results are delightful blend of Blueberry, Blood Orange, Mango, Pineapple, Peach/Apricot, and a perfect kiss of dankness without any substantial bitterness at all. We wanted something that’s juuuuuust complex enough to be exciting, but also laid-back enough to truly crush a couple beers with some buds. Or alone! Whatever tickles your fancy, ya heard?

DSSOLVR - Swamp Flip
Style: Coffee Pilsner
ABV: 5.00%

Hey, kid! Do a kickflip! No? How about a Swamp Flip? Yeah…idk what that is, either. “Swamp Flip” is a Coffee Pilsner, brewed in collaboration with the ever-loving sweethearts and kind-hearted humans King state brewing and king state coffee. We’ve been MASSIVE fans of Aric, Vinny, and Apple for a long time now, and when Vinny said “PUT MY DAMN FACE ON A CAN ALREADY!”, we just felt the urge to oblige. Given that we’re all big fans of Lagers and Coffee (and that they absolutely crush both of these beverages), the style seemed incredibly obvious. Thus, Coffee Pilsner was made to be! We wanted to take a hybrid approach of their base for “Green Dart” and our house-favorite “Here to ____” series of American Pilsners, so we mashed up Cumberland Pilsner and Chesapeake Pilsner, along with a dash of Chit Malt from Riverbendmalt. 100% Riverbend Malt in this bad lil’ ditty! We then took a restrained approach to the water profile, and dosed in Loral and Sterling throughout the boil and Whirlpo

Mashed with Riverbend Malt 2-Row, Proximity Malt Wheat, a touch of their Crystal malt, and just a kiss of their Dextrin malt. Hit HARD on the hot side with brutal amounts of MI Centennial, fermented low and slow with our Pub Ale yeast and spunded for dat natural carb. Dry hopped only once, but heavily with a big ol’ smattering of Michigan Copper, MI Chinook, MI Cashmere, and Columbus Cryo. Notes of , fresh Grapefruit and Tangelo peels, the parking lot before an STS9 show, and that first sip of Pliny the Elder!

DSSOLVR - The Hustle Is Heartbreak
Style: West Coast IPA
ABV: 6.40%

“The Hustle is Heart Break” is our newest West Coast IPA, and we really just cannot get enough of this series. Mashed with Riverbend 2-Row, Red Wheat, a touch of Crystal malt, and just a kiss of Dextrin malt. Hit HARD on the hot side with Michigan Centennial, Columbus and Citra, fermented low and slow with our Pub Ale yeast and spunded for dat natural carb. Dry hopped only once, but rather aggressively with MORE Citra, Mosaic, Columbus, Cascade, and a bunch of Centennial Cryo. Notes of bittersweet Mango fruit leather rolled in Blueberry skins and coated in coniferous tree sap, biting straight into an unpeeled Grapefruit, some sorta marijuana reference, and that first righteous pint of Boneyard IPA you had…although their IPA is still VERY relevant

Style: West Coast IPA

“The Hustle is Weird” is our effort in making an excuse to gather as many local breweries in one spot as we could! Crafted in collaboration with not one, not two, but a whopping 19 other badass local breweries. Talk about a team effort! Mashed with @Riverbend 2-Row and Munich, and @proximitymalt Wheat and Dextrin Malt. Hit HARD on the hot side with Columbus and Michigan Centennial, fermented low and slow and spunded for dat natural carb. Dry hopped only once, but rather aggressively with Idaho 7, Loral, Cascade, and a fat dab of Columbus Cryo. Notes of tiny lil’ miscellaneous Berry hard candies, a bag of skittles, sticky coniferous trees mixed up with a nice Orange Marmalade, the dankness in a parking lot before a String Cheese Incident concert, and that first righteous pint of Race 5 you had from way back when.

“We Don’t Sell Those Here” is named after a really insensitive and uptight wine salesman in Savannah who refused to sell us a corkscrew. Mashed with Riverbend Malt 2-Row, Flaked Wheat, Flaked Oats, Malted Wheat, Malted Oats, Dextrin Malt, and just a kiss of Brewer’s Crystals for MAXIMUM BODY. Hopped very aggressively in the Whirlpool with BRU-1, fermented with our House IPA yeast, Dry-hopped once with BRU-1 and Sabro, and then Dry-hopped a second time with an ignorant amount of BRU-1 and Sabro, and a Hoofy-size handful of El Dorado Cryo.
