At 4.2% ABV our Provincial is our sessionable Belgian-Style farmhouse ale brewed utilizing a unique 24-hour warm souring technique using lactobacillus in the wort. We fermented with a Belgian wheat yeast strain famous for fruity flavors and a dry finish, making it the perfect complement to fruit. This delightfully tart fruit beer is refreshing, with a citrusy apricot aroma that transitions into a subtlety sweet and tart finish.

This enlightening Belgian-style Pale Ale pushes it’s own style boundaries to evolve to it’s truest self. The historic English Maris Otter malt grounds the beer while imparting a creamy, biscuity flavor. American Crystal hops enhance the herb and spice characters from the vital force of our house yeast while adding a harmonious woodsy, green aroma. This beer finds it’s true fulfillment in your hands.

	Funkwerks Brewery - Dahlia Style: Belgian Strong Dark Ale ABV: 6.30% Light amber-orange and clear appearance with a dissipating white head. Aroma and flavor of Belgian yeast, light fruity esters and mild sweetness. Malty and smooth with a medium to full body and a creamy feel. A pretty nice sipper.

	Funkwerks Brewery - Dark Prophet Style: Belgian Strong Dark ABV: 11.00% This deep mahogany-colored dark strong ale has a wonderful aroma of vanilla, dark fruits, and spicy oak. With the addition of cacao nibs, the chocolatey flavor is complemented by fig, date, and oak undertones. The oak tannins balance the chocolate malt flavors and the beer finishes with a slight alcohol warmth.

This Belgian-Style Golden Ale is deceptively palatable as the alcohol percentage is masked by complex characteristics introduced by our unique Belgian yeast strain. 	Funkwerks Brewery - Elder Wit Style: Belgian Witbier ABV: 4.20% Due to a snowstorm and a lost truck, we had to shift gears and get creative. Rich, one of our quirky brewers, had an epiphany for an Elderflower beer one night over too much Elderflower liquor. We decided to combine the floral sweetness of Elderflower with the citrusy tang of a Witbier.

Belgian-Style Pale Ale. Inspired by the progressive New England IPA beer style, we wanted to brew a more subtle, Belgian version for our hop-crazed fans. Brewed with heavy late hop and dry hop additions to give an aroma profile of ample fruit and citrus. Notes of floral, tangerine, tropic fruit, hints of spice. Pairs well with walking into the party, like you are walking onto a yacht.

Guavaloso is based on Luminoso, a sour blonde ale aged in a variety of barrels and blended with a light and refreshing kettle sour. The range of barrels and the use of brettanomyces yeast contribute wild characteristics, while the beer’s bright tartness works well with the introduction of exotic guava puree. Lima Pepina is a crisp and refreshing collaboration brewed with our friends at Euclid Hall in Denver. With inspiration taken from a mojito cocktail, we used fresh mint, lime, and cooling cucumber to create a lightly tart and super crushable beer. Funkwerks Brewery - Nelson Sauvin
Style: Saison
ABV: 7.50%

Named after the unique New Zealand hop that has distinct white wine characteristics, this single-hop Saison has a subtle aroma of gooseberries, honeydew melon and a hint of spiciness from our house Saison yeast strain. The addition of Muscat grape juice at the end of the boil plays into the fruity aromas from the hops and contributes to the crisp, dry finish.

	Funkwerks Brewery - Orange is the New Stout Style: Stout ABV: 6.50% For this beer, all of our taproom employees got to brainstorm beer ideas and then help brew the beer as well. This Belgian-Style Stout brewed with hazelnut and orange peel has a subtle aroma of mandarin orange and full-bodied, warm, nutty chocolate notes.

This is our third release of Oud Bruin, our traditional Flemish style sour produced from a blend of beers aged for up to 2 years from a variety of oak barrels. Long fermentation with Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and other sour cultures contribute the characteristic tart flavor. Pucker up. Notes of black cherry, raisin, and a hint of dark chocolate.

We took a batch of Tropic King, one of our best selling beers and Saison’s bigger brother, added peach puree and souring bacteria and aged it in whiskey barrels. The oak and fruit work well in this tart beer while adding a new complexity to the tropical fruit flavors of Tropic King. Notes of passion fruit, mango, peaches, black pepper, and a hint of whiskey. Pairs well with using too many emojis.

Funkwerks Brewery - Provincial
Style: Berliner Weissbier
ABV: 5.60% IBU: 13.0

Inspired by the sessionable German Berliner Weisse, we followed tradition and allowed the wort to mature overnight with lactobacillus. The next day it was boiled and transferred to the fermentor where we added a Belgian wheat yeast strain famous for fruity flavors and a dry finish. The result is a highly carbonated and refreshingly tart summer beer with a citrusy pineapple aroma. These aromas carry through in to the flavor leading to a dry but tart finish. The unfiltered ale is best consumed fresh - it will not continue to sour with age and is not recommended for cellaring.

In the summer of 2013 we took a test batch of our sessional sour summer ale, Provincial, that didn’t quite hit gravity, and decided to have some fun with it! We added a heavy dose of raspberries. The end result was so delicious, we decided to recreate it! This delightfully tart fruit beer is refreshing, with a citrusy raspberry aroma which transitions to a subtlety sweet and tart finish.

This delicious creation was truly a product of creativity, ingenuity, and luck. Last summer we took a test batch of our Berliner Weisse style summer ale, Provincial, that didn’t quite hit gravity, and decided to have some fun with it! We added a heavy dose of raspberries to this sessionable, refreshingly tart beer. The end result was so delicious, we decided to recreate it! This delightfully tart fruit beer is stimulating and refreshing, with a citrusy raspberry aroma which transitions to a subtlety sweet and tart finish.

	Funkwerks Brewery - Roselle Style: Hibiscus Saison ABV: 7.00% Named after a species of Hibiscus, Roselle was originally inspired by Valentine’s Day when brewed once before in 2012. The addition of Hibiscus contributes a striking magenta color with a light pink hue in the head, and introduces a raspberry like flavor with slight floral and earthy notes.

Serenade was brewed with a base malt, named Serenade from Troubadour Maltings, a local malting company dedicated to locally sourced grains to produce unique malts. Serenade malts contribute subtle nutty characteristics. We chose an array of fruit forward hops to augment the fruit notes, including the Australian Summer hop, which contributes soft melon and apricot flavors.

Soursop is an exotic fruit native to the Caribbean and Central America. It has an intimidating spiky, bright green skin, and a subtly sweet yet sour flavor. Massive amounts of soursop puree and a kiss of tangerine puree were added to this tart beer to contribute creamy tropical and bold citrus flavors. Slightly hazy and yellow in color, this beer is unlike any other Provincial we have brewed before!

Belgian-Style Wit Ale with Gooseberries.This wit ale puts a modern twist on a classic Belgian style. Replacing the classically-used orange peel with gooseberries gives this beer distinctly more tartness then your standard wit. This tartness combines with a relatively low abv to create the perfect sessionable summer ale. Notes of coriander, black pepper, citrus fruit, and melon.

Inspired by the Dark Strong beers of Belgium, this full-bodied Quadruple Belgian-style ale pours with a deep burgundy hue and a frothy tan head. The malt-forward aromas of toffee and chocolate compliment the dark fruity aromas of raisins and plums. The aromatic qualities follow through in the flavor and combine with refreshing effervescent carbonation. A dry and balanced finish makes this strong but quaffable beer the perfect way to end a long day!

Style: Imperial Saison

Our Imperial Saison was brewed with New Zealand Rakau hops, giving this taproom favorite aromas of passion fruit, mango, and peach. After aging Tropic King in peach whiskey barrels with various wild organisms for a year, these tropical fruit characteristics are now balanced by spicy vanilla notes from the barrels and the earthy dryness of Brettanomyces.

After years of wondering how King would taste with a healthy dose of fruit, we mustered up the courage to add over 160 pounds of apricots to the fermentor. Delicate fruit aromas and flavors in conjunction with clove and pepper flavors contributed by our house yeast make this an easy beer to drink for everyone including those who don’t typically enjoy fruit beers.

	Funkwerks Brewery - White Style: Witbier ABV: 4.80% This Belgian-Style Wit is refreshing and quite witty. The opaque pale color and creamy white head results from ample amounts of wheat used in the recipe. The addition of raw oats gives a smooth mouthfeel yet finishes dry. Notes of orange zest and hints of coriander and chamomile.

Saison Ale brewed with Yuzu Juice. Yuzu is a popular Japanese citrus fruit, known for its strong grapefruit-like flavors. The addition of yuzu juice to our flagship Saison amplifies the beer’s inherent citrus characteristics in addition to complementing the yeast’s peppery notes. Yuzu want to drink this, don’t you? Notes of grapefruit, tangerine, citrus, and more citrus. Pairs well with poisonous blowfish.
